Today, we're going to have a super quick look at the markets, and then I've got a very exciting conversation with Gisa Ellis, who is the mastermind behind Dacxi LEARN. So if you want to increase your crypto mastery, boost up your confidence, and increase your competence, read on because that is what Dacxi LEARN is all about.

Weekly Market Overview

At the time of writing Bitcoin is $41,400 and Ethereum is $3100. We are up from where we were seven days ago, but still really struggling to make much headway at the moment.  That doesn't mean it's doom and gloom, it just means there'll be value buying opportunities. My good friend Dave the Wave thinks the bottom of the market will be in September this year and then the next bull run in 2024 leading to a peak price for Bitcoin of $175K at the end of that year.

Australia’s first Bitcoin EFTs

One billion dollars are expected to flow into Australia's first Bitcoin ETF when it lists next week, according to a report in the Australian Financial Review. And we've seen that before in Canada, when they first released the Bitcoin spot a lot of capital rushed in. We don't actually know yet if that's what's going to happen, but it's good news regardless. Australia has a forward looking FinTech scene, and their action will put more pressure on the US to do the same - and I expect they will at some time in the next year.

IMF reports on the state of the world.

The IMF released their ‘Global Financial Stability Report’ this week. We all know the world is under pressure from uncertain geopolitical and macro factors, but they say that we have seen increasing crypto use following the war in Ukraine and the pandemic. They talk about the possibility for bad actors to use non-compliant exchanges to evade sanctions, and money laundering etc - all the usual stuff. But they also note the positive side that crypto is giving people new opportunities - but of course we’re well ahead of them there.

Dacxi LEARN

All right. I said we would learn a little bit about Dacxi LEARN. When you start out on your crypto journey it's overwhelming. Dacxi LEARN aims to simplify it and get you quickly up to speed with what you need to know - and nothing you don’t. There are a wide range of courses for private investors and financial professionals, webinars, ebooks, reports, it's all here. It's easy. You just sign up and just do it at your own pace. But enough about me talking about it. Recently I spoke to Gisa Ellis, who is the head of Dacxi LEARN.

Andy:

So what’s the idea behind Dacxi LEARN?

Gisa:

Dacxi has long recognised that many people who are interested in crypto feel that they don't know enough about it, and as a result they are missing out on the exciting financial opportunity that’s presenting itself right now. We want to empower everyday people with a crypto knowledge they need to invest with confidence, and potentially achieve the financial freedom they are looking for.

We also recognise that financial professionals are facing a bit of a dilemma nowadays. On the one hand, they have clients who are interested in investing in crypto, but they’re saying how can we make recommendations about an asset class we don't know much about? So we want to bridge that knowledge gap for financial professionals too, so that they can make educated recommendations to their clients.

Andy:

I know many people are aware of Dacxi’s upcoming global tokenized crowdfunding platform, called the Dacxi Chain. How does that work with Dacxi LEARN?

Gisa:

The Dacxi Chain will bring crowd funding opportunities to Dacxi’s global community of investors, and also provide a platform for entrepreneurs seeking funding. At Dacxi LEARN we're helping to build a global community of educated and confident crypto investors - people with the wealth builder mindset who are actively seeking investment opportunities to build their Crypto Wealth. We hope that many people who engage with the Dacxi Chain will get their start in crypto with Dacxi LEARN.

Andy:

You mentioned the world builder mind-set which is something I talk about a lot on the Crypto Wealth Cafe. What’s your perspective on that?

Gisa:

Effective education is about being simple and engaging. It means that we have to break down complex financial terminology, condense it into bite size pieces, and create a progressive approach to learning. We have beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, and guide people through the process and make it intriguing, engaging, even fun! Building a long-term investment building perspective is part of that.

It's really important to keep it simple and start with the basics and build a really good foundation. We have a foundational course which is called Get Started, which covers the basics. There are video modules, a core guide and an interim test. Then you can go on to the next course which is called ‘Unstoppable Confidence’ which provides more information, and helps you build the confidence to take the plunge and invest in crypto.

For financial professionals we have various courses, which are more in-depth. The first is called ‘Unlocking the Financial Opportunity’ and it really is a perfect place to start. It has foundational information, but then we go a lot deeper with courses on tax, and blockchain tokenization. We're proud that the course has been CPD accredited. CPD is a continuous professional development organisation based in the UK where we have an international membership. We work hard to provide a high level of quality education in our courses. And that has been recognised which I'm really happy about.

Andy:

What are some key takeaways from your courses?

Gisa:

One of them definitely is when you look at cryptocurrency to invest, you have to look at its use-case, if you want to understand the intrinsic value of that currency.

For financial professionals, I think the most important takeaway is that crypto is here to stay.

Andy:

Communities are a very important part of crypto and I think people who are new to crypto need to know that. It's really important to find other people that you can talk to, share your knowledge with, and get some back in return.

Gisa:

Absolutely. We are very active in building our community. We have our own Facebook page, and we post educational articles on LinkedIn on a weekly basis.

Andy:

Learning needs to be rewarding, so that people stay engaged and keep learning more. What are you doing with Dacxi LEARN to create rewarding learning experiences for people?

Gisa:

That’s a very good point. It's really important to help people, not only to have a learning experience, but to stick with it. That's the hardest part. To make it fun and rewarding is really important. So we have already built quite a few interesting things into the learning experience. For example, so people can keep track of their learning and get rewarded for their progress.

Andy:

What can you tell us about new things coming down the Dacxi LEARN pipeline?

Gisa:

We're always working on developing Dacxi LEARN. Soon we will begin introducing content specifically for Australia, the UK, and other countries. And we are working on Dacxi’s specific channel designed for women, called Women Who Crypto.

There is new functionalities on the platform, including a streamlined way of delivering educational webinars. And there’s a heavy focus on developing a library of exclusive premium content for Dacxi wealth clients

Andy:

Thank you so much for talking with me today. I’m very excited to further explore the Dacxi learn platform. I really do encourage you to check it out.

Gisa:
